Introducing @managertip—tweets for people managers and communicators

Nobody becomes a great manager on their own.

The best bosses had mentors, people who gave them insight on how to inspire employees and manage the fires. The best bosses also never stopped learning. They understood that managing styles change with each generation and that today’s office culture is very different from yesterday’s.

@managertip is not going to take you out for coffee. It won’t pat you on the back. What it will do, however, is provide the same sage advice that a mentor would. @managertip is updated frequently with articles, statistics and research on everything from helping new hires get through their first three months to learning how to give and receive feedback.

And just like @benefitstip@managertip is an example of how to use social media for internal communication, and you can use the content for your own communications efforts.

Let us know what you think. We hope it will give you inspiration to start using Twitter yourself!
